Before creative work begins
If you cancel before we begin songwriting, arrangement, recording or production, the project payment will be refunded in full to the original payment method.
After creative work begins
Once any creative work begins, the payment is non-refundable because time and custom labour have been committed to material that cannot ordinarily be resold. This includes cancellation caused by a change of mind, changed occasion, changed relationship, subjective dislike despite performance of the accepted brief, or failure to provide feedback.
If we cancel or cannot deliver
If we cancel an accepted project and cannot provide the agreed service, we will refund the amount paid for the unprovided service. If we miss the estimated delivery date, we may propose a reasonable extended deadline. If we still cannot deliver within that extension, you may cancel and receive a refund. You do not have to accept a substitute service.
Revisions are the first remedy
If a listening copy materially fails an objective part of the accepted brief—such as the wrong recipient, wrong agreed genre, omission of an expressly accepted essential detail, a factual error based on information you supplied correctly, or an unusable technical file—contact us within seven calendar days. We will first receive a reasonable opportunity to correct the problem.
The standard package includes one consolidated revision round covering up to three minor lyric changes requested within that seven-day window. Corrections to our own mistakes do not use the included round. If we cannot correct a material failure after a reasonable attempt, you may receive a full or proportionate refund based on the affected service. A refund is not available merely because a revision is unused or because of subjective taste after delivery consistent with the accepted brief.
Additional and rush charges
Additional lyric-update rounds are $25 USD each and non-refundable once that additional work begins. Approved rush work or other add-ons follow the same before-start and after-start rule unless different written terms were provided.
Duplicate or incorrect charges
A verified duplicate payment or amount charged in error will be refunded to the original payment method. Contact us promptly with enough information to identify the transaction.
Processing
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Financial institutions control the time required for funds to appear. Payment-processing delays are not within our control.
Mandatory rights
Nothing in this policy removes refund, cancellation, chargeback or consumer-protection rights that cannot legally be waived in your location.
